March For Our Lives: The Most Vicious Cycle

This is a commercial ad of March For Our Lives. This commercial was released in October 2018 in United States. Under the title of “March For Our Lives: The Most Vicious Cycle”.

“Safe” is the debut single from the artist Sage. Sage wrote the song while in his senior year of high school after the tragic mass shooting in a high school in Parkland, Florida. He played the first version of the song for his older sister, the music artist Kesha, who instantly felt the power of the track and wanted to help the cause by lending her voice to the song and movement. Chika, independent female rapper known for her vicious flow and fearless lyrics, contributed verses to finish the song.

The song is being released in partnership with March For Our Lives which is a non-profit organization aimed at ending senseless gun violence, founded by a group of students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High school in Parkland, Florida. Together these students and artists are asking Americans to take to the polls this fall to vote for candidates who support common sense gun laws.

McCann, The Mill+, Wool & Tusk, Mellow Media, Sound Lounge and production crew and cast, including former students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas, have donated their services to help March For Our Lives and the musical artists. Together, they produced “Safe”—a groundbreaking new music video, which encourages people to vote for politicians who support sensible gun legislation. A portion of the proceeds from the song will go to March For Our LIves.

It was done by McCann, New York advertising agency. And, the commercial by Production Company is The Mill and is directed by Ben Smith.

The Most Vicious Cycle

♬In a mad man’s world, happens every day
I don’t understand why the rules can’t change
I don’t wanna be a moment of silence
I don’t wanna be an early grave
When I’m walking through the halls
I don’t wanna be brave, I just wanna be safe
March For Our Lives The Most Vicious Cycle
We were just looking for a good time
Now it’s goodbyes for no reason
Every day gun season, breathing was uneven
People down on knees and everything was a blur
Can’t tell you where he was, but I remember where we were
Look, lately, we can’t even have our past-time
We leave our homes and wonder if it’ll be our last time

If I die before I wake, please forgive all my mistakes
Know that I was gonna stand for something, something, something
I’ve got so much life to live, and I’ve got so much love to give
Please don’t take it all for nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing…♬
