Sainsbury’s: Mog’s Christmas Calamity

This is a commercial ad of Sainsbury’s. This commercial was released in November 2015 in United Kingdom. Under the title of “Sainsbury’s: Mog’s Christmas Calamity”.

Presenting the new Sainsbury’s Christmas Advert. Mog sets off a chain of unfortunate events which almost ruin Christmas for the Thomas family. Can she pull it all back to save the day?

This year, we worked in partnership with HarperCollins Children’s Books and world renowned author and illustrator Judith Kerr to create a Christmas story based on her much loved character Mog. We hope that families will come together this Christmas to enjoy this very special story #ChristmasIsForSharing

It was done by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, London advertising agency. The commercial by Production Company is Outsider and is directed by James Rouse.

This is so cute. You’d think at first that this cat is definitely unlucky. I had to smile at her misfortunes but she sure did save the day. It’s so cute especially the expressions of the cat. I actually laughed when she tried to open the oven and that dark plume of smoke came out. Her expression is so cute. I had to say that the message of this advertisement is really great. It’s important that we share what we have with the people around us.
