Lyrics:
Come on feet, start moving, got to get me there
Hey, hey, ha ha ha ha
Twenty-five miles from home, girl
My feet are hurtin’ mighty bad
Now I’ve been walkin’ for three days
And two lonely nights
So I got to keep on walkin’
Oh I got to walk on
I’m so tired
But I just can’t lose my stride
I got fifteen miles to go now
And I can hear my baby callin’ my name
It’s as if, as though
I’m standin’ at her front door
I got to keep on walkin’
Come on, feet, don’t fail me now
I got ten more miles to go
I got nine, eight, seven

Thank you been wondering who did this song from the first time I saw the Visa ad. Awesome!!
Edwin Starr is probably known by most folks as the guy who did; “War” (what is it good for…). He also had several top 40 hits in the soul/R&B and disco categories.
Funny enough I’ve recommended this song to my Creative Director to use in one if the top running brands we’re doing. And that was like in 2014. Funny how some forgotten songs suddenly appears in other commercials.
