most awesome ad ive seen in 53yrs thank u sending blessings
The ad itself is fine but the music is comparable to fingernails on a chalkboard. Tired of changing the channel when Walgreens runs this ad.
I agree X 100
Fantastic and uplifting commercial
What is the name of the actor wearing the pink head scarf ? Powerful !
Wonderful, powerful commercial! Brava!
The commercial is really good and I’m glad they’re doing that the woman singing that song sounds like somebody sucked on helium and singing through their nose can’t understand a word they’re saying it completely ruins the commercial
The commercial itself is fantastic with its depiction of these cancer warriors, but that horrible rap song ruins the entire thing. That song makes me want to put my fist through a wall.
It’s easy to trash a genre instead of applauding an art form, The song is a poem, an ode to the powerful F-E-M-A-L-E. Written by a Conscious rap artist, not just some rapper.
After losing 10 family members to cancer this ad is definitely a breath of fresh air for me, and the rap was clean and precise. As a female of any race you should feel empowered and appreciative that any artist of any genre make an ode’ to the female struggles, Thank you “Sampa The Great “for your creative contribution and Wal-greens for facilitating the art form, and I’m not even a woman.
I am a 59 year old white woman. This song by Sampa let me understand for the first time what rap is all about and why it is so great. Probably because I got to hear the same passage enough times to let it sink in. I didn’t like it at first. But now I hear what is great in all rap. Thank you.
The song lyrics I’m asking about are the ones that sound like she’s say “oh my god, over and over, but very softly.
